Permission - Notification of Permissions

How does ShareVantage notify me of a contact permissions request?
ShareVantage Messenger will display a Contact Request icon; a small red flag, in the upper left. Position your cursor over the active or inactive icon to view a popover label that describes the icon and enumerates the number of current contact requests.
